Winner of the Best Sound Design Award 2016 at Isart Digital.
Preston is the Animation Movie project I presented alongside fellow classmates in 2016 during our end of studies project at Isart Digital.
This animated short presented the challenge of being perfectly synchronised to the rendition of Lang Lang’s Hungarian Rapsody.
I provided Sound Design for the destruction of the ring and the more “fantasy-driven” sound effects.
I also helped advise both the animation and audio team on how to best proceed with the final mix.

Produced and Directed by Johan Amselem, this documentary follows the story of larger than life Romanian star Emil Rengle and his fight to break the boundaries of pop culture in a country that still recovers from a troubled past.
I was tasked with the honor of scoring the documentary and working on the final mix.
The main focus of the music for me was to complement what was expressed by Rengle and to support it by adding a “voice” of a different kind.
To this effect, the heavy use of melancholic and melodic but hopeful synths were used to create an almost organic cyberpunk identity that I believe fit both Rengle’s message and the Romanian youth that it represented like a glove.

Released in 2016, Kyub is a game I provided Sound Design and Music Direction advice on, while completing my studies at Isart Digital.
Thanks to the people at Next Ninja, the remote collaboration between student sound designers based in Paris and an actual game studio operating in Japan went smoothly and allowed me and my fellow classmates to have an important first experience of legitimate video game production.
